But God, you are beyond our control. It is not up to us to dictate the terms of your presence. If it is your will to distract us, we will try to be ready. If it is your will to alarm us with the urgency of the good news, we deserve it. It is you who determine the terms of our time together. Fill us with your Spirit so that whether we are meant to speak or to listen, to give or to receive, to rise or to rest, we will be ready in all circumstances to serve you for who you are, and not what we would rather imagine you to be. This we pray in your name. Call to Annual Meeting: The 2012 Annual Meeting of First Baptist Church, Ogdensburg is hereby called to meet on Sunday, February 12, 2012 at 12:30 PM for the purpose of reading annual reports, electing officers of the church, and transacting any other business that may properly come before it. The meeting will be preceded by a pot luck lunch at noon following the worship service. Please submit all annual reports to the Church office by Tuesday, Feb. 7th.
